The Villages GPS shows the Circle K on Buenos Aires is golf cart accessible, but it doesn’t show up as an option on the Villages App.

Is crossing Buenos Aires in a golf cart allowed?

Buenos Aires is not golf accessible… you need to go up and over the bridge to WaWa……

One can always fill up a gas can with the non ethanol and then fill your cart with it. Not ideal but an answer.

I live old historic section. I go to wawa to get my gas. After main gate on Paridise about 6 houses down on left heading north there is a golf cart cut thru to road. Need your key card to get thru gates. That road takes you to wawa and all the way to Walmart. You can also get gas at BJs too.

If not sure where it’s at just pull over and watch, you will see carts popping in and out of path.

If 15 yrs. is what they’re saying the life on cart is, well my first cart was a 2012 & traded it in 2018 for a quite tech & I had 25,000 miles on it, so if 15 yrs. is what they’re saying them should last, I disagree because that would mean I would of had 75,000 miles on my 2012. I know 15 yrs. is the average & not how long they’ll last.

I guess that also makes the Buenos Aires Professional Plaza (corner of El Camino and Buenos Aires) not reachable by golf carts as well.

You are correct. The golf cart tunnel at the corner of El Camino and Buenos Aires (near Freedom Pointe) takes you under El Comino but south of Buenos Aires. Therefore, you can reach the medical offices in Santa Barbara, the stores and restaurants in Spanish Plaines shopping center, and the hospital. But you cannot go across Buenos Aires in a non-street legal golf cart to the north from any of those locations. Therefore, you can't get to those medical buildings or the Circle K gas station which are on the north side of Buenos Aires.

Villages GPS golf cart directions should be edited to reflect that.

Agree you can not cross road, but there is a tunnel in this area.

Street legal?

It would be nice to have the list of roads in the Villages or adjacent to the Villages with a speed limit of 30mph or less that have been disapproved for golf cart use.

Buenos Aires Blvd appears to be a road within the Villages. Buenos Aires Blvd is marked for a speed limit of 30mph. If golf carts within the Villages can travel on roadways marked at 30mph or less then this would seem to imply that golf carts can cross Buenos Aires Blvd.

According to some old information, Buenos Aires *used* to be marked with a golf cart crossing sign. Again, this would imply that golf carts were allowed to cross Buenos Aires Blvd. at one time.

If it is no longer legal to cross that roadway, where is the ordinance or ruling that made that change?

As I wrote above, it would be nice to have a list of disapproved roads.

Don’t rely on the villagegps! It is NOT affiliated with The Villages! Use the FREE Village gps app available.

My neighbor does this all the time. Never takes his golf cart to service station.

Go to the service stations past The Villages hospital.. Problem solved.
Also, I have seen several none street legal carts crossing 27/441 at different lights.
