I don't think so.

You're talking about Stonecrest, right?? We also find it bizarre that The Villages is being attacked because people who have purchased property in Stonecrest feel entitled to the rights for which The Villages resident pay. Good fences make good neighbors certainly applies here.

I drove down Rainey Trail and entered at Bonnybrook every day for over 5 years. Did I use TV cart paths? Yep. But I also spent thousands upon thousands of dollars each year at the country club golf courses, merchants throughout TV and restaurants. I was there during the very slow summer months helping to keep the businesses going. Decided I wanted more convenience so I bought. Win/Win in my eyes.

you were once a part of the problem and have now become a part of the solution Thank you:wave:

It this the same villages ID that the people at the rec centers have such a difficult time getting the readers to read? And they take the ID and hold it at exactly the correct distance and angle and it still sometimes is a frustration for them? And it is going to work better outdoors with people in golf carts trying to get them just right under the reader. Should be interesting. Perhaps they meant to write a gate card, not a villages ID card but the POA article does use the phrase "villages ID card reader"

I think it is our white and blue gate pass.

Not sure how I was part of the problem. I spent money in TV on a regular basis. I helped employ people and often spent time helping lost drivers or broken down carts get home. I am quite sure, TV got more out me than I took in driving on a MM path....

Peachie.....How very true....everything you said here...I agree with you!

In the last (6) months, I have been to "TV" less than (6) times, unless you want to count Publix, Panera's, etc..Your gate doesn't mean a thing to me. I do hope that (1) car vs (2) golf carts in a parking space works out for you small minded people when all the Snowbirds arrive. Unfortunately, there are many people that rely on their carts to get to medical facilities on the wrong side of the tracks that will be effected. I'm very happy I never acquired a taste for KoolAid.

If you have been to The Villages less than 6 times in 6 months, what is the issue? If in your mind, Villagers are small-minded and love KoolAid, it's surprising you want to use our private paths and associate with us.

Again, it is most bizarre that The Villages is being attacked because people who have purchased property in Stonecrest feel entitled to the rights for which The Villages resident pay. Good fences make good neighbors certainly applies here.

The population of Stonecrest is able to access The Villages in the same manner that residents of Spruce Creek, Del Webb, Lakeside Landing and other communities outside The Villages perimeters. If you really like The Villages, there is always a property for sale so you could truly enjoy the lifestyle that comes with the Morse business model for development.

May you enjoy your evening and, BTW, the Packers are playing da Bears tonight if you're looking for entertainment.

I think this has been beat to death, but I would still like to remind everybody that the multi-modal paths are private property, but public access. This means that the supposed "outsiders" actually have no access to anything that is exclusive to residents of The Villages. They cannot get into Katie Bells, use rec centers or pools and play golf without visitor passes.

Thank you Steven, I couldn't say it better myself.
