Gentlemen, if you’re going to wear baggy shorts please, please learn to sit as if you are wearing a kilt. The view of those old “guys” really is repulsive and very rude to share in public.
Thank you Ma'am..... I'll remember that. Privates in private only.

YES, I drive my cart with my left knee hanging out. Unlike many on this thread, I am 6 foot 8 and cramming into a golf cart is hard enough. I'm not hurting anyone and I'm conscience enough to be aware in tight situations. So, my best thought is...Live and let live.

This is an amputation waiting to happen. I am shocked when I see this. The space between cars/trucks and golf carts is just inches. I used to work in Emergency Rooms so...

What I've noticed is people who are too obese to fit behind the steering wheel sitting in the passenger seat and operating the pedals with their left foot.

With your height, I would be doing the same thing.

While this subject has been brought up numerous times, I personally don't ever recall reading (or even hearing through the very dubious 'rumor mill') about someone who had their knee/leg injured...from having it sticking out.

Adding a lot of credence to your comment of..."Live and let live."

I stick my left leg out the door when turning from cart path into traffic. Gotta keep both hands on the wheel, ya know.
