Re: golf cart prices in the villages
Golfnut, I've been watching the classifieds and have yet to see a used one for sale. I plan to check them out along with Club Car.

Re: golf cart prices in the villages
jj, did you check the items for sale on this forum, the last item listed at the bottom is a golf cart for sale.
|
Re: golf cart prices in the villages
Golfnut, I was referring to a used Par Car. I've watched the ads in the Sun and haven't seen a used one up for sale yet.

Re: golf cart prices in the villages
Chuckster, our home is in Duval as is Darbyduff. When at TV in July we rented a gas powered Yamaha. I too did not like the noise, however we drove the heck out of the cart. We went everywhere with out concern for amount of juice available. I really want to buy an electirc cart cause they are smootherto operate and quieter. My concern is how far can you go. The companies say anywhere from 40 to 80 miles. Have you encountered any problems with distance with your electric? Yes the new gas cars are nice. I drove a Yamaha Drive at Villages golf cars and it was so nice, but they want $1,000 + more for their car than I can buy one here in Alabama. They also package everything giving you things you do not need or have already paid for with the cart.

Re: golf cart prices in the villages
Bama, I too drove the Yamaha Drive (gas right?) and liked it, but then I went to the EZ Go manufacturer store north of TV on 441 and drove their gas and I liked it better than the Yamaha, of course that's just my opinion.

Re: golf cart prices in the villages
golfnut, Is the EZ Go store the factory store I heard of ? I will be sure to go by and test drive one of their cars. EZ go says they have the quietest gas powered cars on the market. Did it ride and drive as well as the Drive?

Re: golf cart prices in the villages
Yes it's their factory store and as you drive north on 441 out of TV it's on the right side you can't miss it, it's pretty big. I thought it was quieter and smoother. EZ is 2 cylinder, Yamaha is a 1 cylinder.

Re: golf cart prices in the villages
Thanks I will definitely try it :)

Re: golf cart prices in the villages
EZ GO factory showroom is at 15797 Hwy 441, about 1/2 to 3/4 mile north of Hwy 42, 352-347-2213, it's worth the ride.

Re: golf cart prices in the villages
How much does a remanufactured golf cart at Golf Car Connections cost vs. a new cart?
|
Re: golf cart prices in the villages
John I called Golf Cart connection yesterday. The salesman I talked to was very nice and helpful. He advised that their remanufactured carts are : 2002-2003 Club Car DS models and sell loaded ready for villages for 5K to mid 5K's plus tax. They have 3 year warranty if you have them do annual maintainence checks at around $50. They do have other specials from time to time.

Re: golf cart prices in the villages
Interesting posts on Village prices. Thanks. We will need a reconditioned golfcart asap when we arrive. Does Golf Cart Connections have them sitting ready on their lot or do you have to order one?
