Default Golf cart pulling trailer with people

Recently I’ve seen trailers for golf carts that look similar to rickshaws for pulling two additional people. There is a “rent me” sign on the back of at least one of the ones I saw, but I couldn’t get close enough to get the details.

This sounds like a good solution for when guests come to town. Has anyone tried one? Or know the website that rents them?

If you have to rent why not rent a 4 or 6 seater, we've done that in the past for guests and it works out very well.

If you search online you can find pictures of that sort of trailer. Personally, I would be concerned about the average golf cart driver pulling a trailer with people in it. So many people here shouldn't even be driving a regular cart ... Looks dangerous to me.

Golf carts are NOT designed for the additional weight, they have brakes only on the rear wheels, and the addition of a trailer and 2 more people may put a significant strain on these brakes. Also, the trailer will block the lower brake and turn signals. IMHO, I am not sure this is a good idea.

They seem to have brake, signal, and tail lights, but I’m not sure about the braking. One brand on the internet does have a system if the front vehicle brakes it engages the brakes on the back, but those are expensive tram systems and I don’t think that’s what I saw.

We actually have multiple carts, but it’s kind of a bummer to split everyone up for tours. I’m not sure driving the huge 4 person forward facing carts would be that much easier than driving something with a trailer. Either way, the huge vehicle are only for touring, so it’d be nice to rent something by the hour.

Watching the majority of villagers trying to reverse that out of/into a tight space, could be entertaining!

Looks like seatbelts on the trailer. Nice cooler which is a must have. Those passengers better buckle in /if the driver goes over a curb or speed bump a little fast they would hit the roof! And spill their beer

If they are like me, can’t find a 4 seater to rent right now. If anyone knows where to find a 4 seater to rent, let me know.

The trailers look like fun, but I think you would need to have a trailer hitch and wiring harness installed, which might cost a bit. Whoever mentioned the difficulty in backing up the trailer is certainly right. All vehicle owners nearby should be hoping you have insurance for that trailer.

OMG! Rickshaw!! too funny! Haven't heard that word in forever! We had one of those when we lived in Hawaii! I think my Dad won it somehow, or something. Great memories.

Not a real brilliant idea from a safety standpoint. I’ve worked hundreds of accidents in my career and that is an accident waiting to happen.

Maneuvering the tight entrances and exits to the tunnels could prove interesting!
