Lot has changed. I, personally left the party. Others who would not embrace extremes have left. Not all became Democrats..I am now a Registered Independent and the fervor is leaving.

Your percentages were correct when Sarah Pain was welcomed as a goddess here, and certainly Fox keeps sending their folks here.

I think it is changing, but still considered, NOT conservative, but Republican. They are not the same any longer

Since I am still working, and in Manufacturing, I will just be nice and say that you are mistaken.

In 37 years in the working world, about half of that in high level supply chain (purchasing) jobs, I have NEVER seen an economy as good as this one. What really amazes me is despite the fact that everyone is REALLY busy, and having trouble finding new workers, they are not raising prices.

Talking with my suppliers on a daily basis I hear about all the reshoring they are doing to USA. I work for a "Made in USA" company, but many of my suppliers import from overseas and are working on moving large portions of that business back here if they can. The small percentage of what I do buy from China I have active projects to reshore in the next 6 months.

That is the real world. Not the Fake News.

Sadness :( I thought something else cool about TV, a road rally, when I read the title.
We used to have organizers who put it together, lots of clues, and times, and weird things to find out, like how many blue balls at the putt putt course, and then central finish and a trophy and big barbecue, music and beer/soda. Was hoping...but hopes dashed to find it is another political thing.

I see a lot of good people lined up for tonight's rally in Johnson City, TN.

What is holding you back from organizing that kind of a rally?

Your post is indicative of what is wrong with America right now. It is written to belittle someone for their beliefs which are different from yours, added to which you threw in the "lefties" comment. Would it not be possible for you to call them Democrats?

I remember a time when this country was kinder and gentler, where you did not ask your neighbor what he "was", meaning left or right. There was a time when it did not matter which party you supported, only that you were a decent person trying to raise a family like the rest of your neighbors.

Now this hatred has been allowed to surge in to every day life. We call each other names - for what. What purpose does it serve to rail against someone because they do not believe as you do.

This country will NEVER be great again until this hatred and mistrust of one another dissipates and we all go back to living our own lives without name calling and maybe, just maybe, we can become proud of our place in the world again.

You need to finance those deficits and the government will need to borrow money via the bond market. In order to attract buyers, the interest rate will be high which will make it all the more a bad situation.

Next domino is the corporate bonds, which will make it more costly to grow.

And maybe the most important is how do we fight off the next recession ?
