I wonder if they couldn't unlock the boot & were waiting for a grandson to come & unlock it for them?

There are a few folks in my neighborhood with newer model golf carts, who've chosen to buy tire boots to secure them in the driveways (most of us only have carports, not garages).

Those of us with actual garages keep our carts in them. A lot of us have older carts that no one would want to steal. Plus our neighborhood is pretty out of the way for cart thefts.

install a seat sensor .... if you are not 300 pounds the cart won't start...
