Always good to read the manual but do keep in mind that these golf cart manuals are written for using the carts as 'golf carts". Yes we golf in our carts but 90 percent of the miles we put on our carts is on hard concrete and asphalt going 20+ miles an hour going from point A to point B. We do not really use our carts for what they were designed for most of the time. The average golf cart used for golf as in a Del Webb community may get around 100 hours of use time a year. We here in TV put anywhere from 200-400 hours on our carts a year according to the hour meter on the dash. With all this being said, what you read in the manual as far as maintenance goes you can throw out the window. We need to be maintaining our carts much more often, particularly those of us that keep a cart for many years.

So you're saying I may have over inflated my tires? They seem fine to me... ;)

I recently checked my tires after about two years. They were around 10-11# each. I pumped them all up to 22. Seems fine.

I lived just west of A-Town -- Emmaus. Graduated 1971

The owners manual says 22psi. The Villages Golf Cars puts 22 in front and 24 in the rear.

keep it 16/18psi...for comfort, I do and never a problem, 25 too rock hard

But, what if you’re cart been modified and don’t have the 8 inch golf course tires. You can’t read what not there.

So, I guess you have 8” golf cart tires? If you have 10” after market tires 16 or 18 going to wear out back tires fast. No weight on front so front tires will last longer.

More than just the tires are over inflated!:)

I can see by these post’s everybody got different opinion on tire pressure what ever tires they are running. So, if person has no clue what set tire pressure at? this not place to get advise?:duck::ohdear:
