Young or old...golf cart or car...STOP signs mean STOP! If you don't stop, you get a ticket. Seems fair to me.

They make and pass all kinds of laws and rules and regulations to "keep us safe" but the fact is most of them are only there to make money for them.

Really??
Why do you say they are never around for REAL crime?
If you think the cities(?) have too much money, why not go to a county commissioners meeting and let them know?
What laws and rules and regulations are you referring to?
Make money for them, are we not them?

NO mercy - ticket them ALL! Including turn signal infractions!

But who said that is what they do, he said he was told.......second hand or more information.

I've seen them there watching that stop sign. I thought that was overkill since the only traffic at that intersection is on the cart path and the maintenance road.

Isn't that the cart path that cuts across the path for maintenance carts going to and from the maintenance shed. The putting green is nearby?

I may be wrong but I don't going down a hill counts as speeding. I believe that your cart would need to be modified to exceed the 19.9mph max to get a ticket. Going down a hill is just gravity at work.

A driver doesn't have to exceed the speed limit simply because they were going downhill. Easing up on the pedal will keep the cart at or below the 19.9mph. Right ????

I don't know why so many folks are hung up on the 19.9 as the Florida statute cites 20 mph as the top speed allowed for golf carts. Gimme my extra .1 mph.
