Seeing as I live north of sumter landing I'd have to eat breakfast near me, stop in Brownwood for lunch, hit the new villages. Maybe do a couple tee times on the way and dinner at Fenny!

By that time, you'll be too tired to drive home. :1rotfl:

Yeah. I believe they are building a hotel near there aren't they?

Hopefully there will be a restaurant or two south of 44 before you get all the way down to Fenney Grill. Time will tell.

Maybe I'll hook up a hot dog wagon to my cart, and set up at the halfway point.....could make a fortune.:a040::coolsmiley:

That is how they are.

Patience, Prudence!

I knew two very good looking sisters in college named Patience and Prudence. No kidding.

Drive your car instead. It is much faster and safer. Rent a cart at NL or Orange Blossom, or jump on with someone else. No brainer.

Actually, using a published map of the proposed roadways in the new section, you can estimate that from Brownwood to Fenney it would be a little under a 7 mile trek via cart, or at 20mph approximately 20 minutes.

Attachment 79650

Closer to 30 min. if driving at 20mph. Stops and turns, passing at reduced speeds. I seldom average more than 15 mph on an extended trip ( 3 or more miles)

The heat never really bothers me. I used to work in it all day so riding in a cart doesn't bother me. If I spend lots of time going in and out of air conditioned spaces my nose and throat start having problems. I do know some people can't tolerate heat.
