You have varying top speeds set typically at 19.5-23 MPH and some set their own carts to 27 MPH (those people are not the problem). Since gas golf carts have near zero throttle linearity, the accelerator pedal is basically just an on / off switch. See the problem? Just have to live with it.

I can get mine to "just barely move," then "move at a steady pace, probably somewhere around 14mph, and then at top speed, which I believe is just a hair under 20mph.

And mine makes three. Plus all the other gas carts out there.

YeahYeahYeah, driving a 22 MPH gas cart at 20 MPH is just wonderful...which is why everybody tries to do it.
