Default Golf driving range pass

I seem to recall overhearing one time while at Palmer, that there is some kind of electronic device that can be purchased that activates the ball dispenser at golf driving ranges....as i recall...the more you pay...the more buckets you get and the less cost per bucket

am i dreaming or did i hear this right...and if right...does anyone have info on cost....i have looked on the golfing in the villages site and can't find anything on it

thanks

It's called an e-key and can be purchased at Palmer, Lopez and Glenview. Where the ranges are located. Can be purchased in 3 different size quantities. 10 - 35.00; 20 - 70.00; 50 - 150.00. Save the most with the 50 (approx. 1.00/time). Just bought the 50 few days ago.

A really positive story here! A couple of years ago, I purchased the $150 ekey at Lopez, and promptly couldn't find it. I went into the store and asked if anybody had turned one in (HA HA HA). Well, they hadn't.

One of the managers came out and gave me a new key will the full amount on the key at no charge. That's class.

I have had a key for years, just make sure you attach it to your golf cart key ring so you don't loose it.

And I'd like to thank you a lot for that key, TH. It has saved me a lot of money since I "found" it. I used it quite a few times before I found out it was a 150. Originally I felt a tad guilty, but since it has helped my game so much who is to say.

Just an aside, but I'll bet those people sell the ekeys to nonresidents who don't pay amenity fees. Just another example of developer greed and disdain for real residents. But I digress . . .

Thanx again, and I'm glad you were compensated by the fine folks at Nancy and didn't lose anything.

Amenity fees have nothing to do with the Championship golf course driving ranges.
