Default GONE: Key Lime Juice - FREE

My Key Lime tree had a bumper crop this year!

Mrs. Buggy and I have squeezed a couple hundred Key Limes and have lots of frozen Key Lime juice in 3/4 cup portions - just right for most recipes for Key Lime Pie or Cheesecake.

Give me a PM if you want some.

buggyone, we just planted a small key lime plant this summer (it's only about 1-1/2 to 2 feet tall). How big are the limes on your plant get before you pick them? Ours are 1/2 the size of a golf ball. We planted a small Meyer Lemon also. Hopefully, they will grow and be fruitful in a few years.

I would say the key limes are about twice the size of a golf ball. They turn lemon yellow when ripe.

I have a Myers lemon also. Those are huge, sweet lemons!

I have a Key Lime tree. These are not the large green limes you see in the grocery store. Those are Persian limes.

Key Limes are about twice the size of a golf ball and are yellow when ripe. The juice is quite tart.

The tree was already planted and producing when I bought the house 4 years ago.

Fairfield Nursery on 301 is a good place to buy citrus trees.

Default Key Lime Juice is Gone!

Wow! What a great response to this posting.

We gave out lots of fresh squeezed Key Lime juice and will close it down at this point.

There are still two posters who said they will pick up later and we are holding your juice for you. Just no more new people, please.

Hope you all make some delicious pies or cheesecakes with the juice you received.

Merry Christmas to all from
Buggyone & Mrs. Buggy
