Yes they are awful this year. I was told at the a Brownwood vendor is there was way too much heat in February...great strawberries need a Cool February for the sugar to set!

Backyard Farms on CR103, about a mile north of 466. Beautiful big berries, u-puck, family owned. $2.50 per pound when i was there 3 weeks ago.
