The two friends (?) sniping at each other.

I really wasn't referring to any of us with a legitimate complaint or alternative view of how things should be. Nothing that needs to be improved will ever get better without people speaking up. If I thought about it, I could come up with a list of improvements as well. But we both know there are those who literally NEVER have a good word to say about TV, every post is negative, we both know who they are, and therefore my comment about why they would want to live here. As you know, there is constructive criticism and there is just plain whining
As far as "protectors of the crown" go, I don't think the billionaire developers need much protection, per se. But it does tend to balance out the chronic nay-sayers.
I personally do not subscribe to the "if you don't like it , move" philosophy, I prefer "If you don't like it, try to change it" If enough people agree with the change, it may very well happen. You'll also note that most of the negative comments about TV offer no alternative policy, and many of them are either picayune or way out in left field. But they are still entitled to their opinion on this forum. They are NOT entitled to make personal attacks against anyone, even our #1 cheerleader. And yes, still friends!

On Line News?? Haven't seen it, never heard of it, but one thing I can say is Gracie Girl has been on this blog for quite a few years, almost as many as myself. She's a lady that I've never seen post anything that might be referred to as bashing. She's always been a class act.

Agreed! She sent me a very nice message when I first joined. :) I love TOTV, generally, but there will always be those miserable few, here and everywhere. Such is life!

Some folks just love to take cheap shots, which is what those were. Unfortunately in today's increasingly callous world such comes with the turf of posting on line.

Oh, well.

Anyone who knows Gracie personally would never "attack" Gracie at any level. Now, that being said, it doesn't mean you can't disagree with her respectfully, and she would enjoy respectfully discussing any subject with you. Like so many of us, she reached out to my wife and I when we first joined TOTV, and made us feel welcome. Although I am no longer very active on TOTV, my family has become friendly on a personal level with her and her wonderful family, visiting each other's home, and my wife golfing or dining with her weekly. Anyone who would try to disparage her doesn't deserve my attention, or anyone else's. She doesn't need me to defend her, she has enough people in TV that love her, and know what a beautiful lady she is.

You are so right. I read what was said and hope very much that if they knew me they would find other things that annoy them worse. I have no idea how the dear man I am married to has put up with me all these years. I am so lucky.

Me too. It is Topix -- The Villages-- Talk of the Villages which gets ugly. Kind of the toilet stall wall of the legal Internet. They do make anonymous attacks on people whom you can rather easily figure out are as far as real identities like me and Graciegirl. It is hard to figure out who these people are that are doing the insulting. Not that I care all that much about the few slurs on me. I do believe in free speech and few people seem to even look at Topix-- The Villages-- Talk of the Villages.

Thank You Sir for spelling it out. Is this the site that can't be mentioned on here? If so what a low life operation the big competition is. TOTV is great, Gracie should be held in high regard. Proud to call her friend. Whoever was outta line have you ever heard of Karma?
