About 3 weeks ago the food channel was in Hyde Park (Cincinnati neighborhood) and they were talking skyline chili - and was doing a part of the show on it. My friends ask me - and on Saturday night - we had Skyline Time at our house. They liked it - and we are going to introduce more of our neighbors to it. Love the post - will look for Graeters also.

If Publix does not have, Fresh Market has the Raspberry chocolate Chip.

Default Skyline Chile

Skyline chile is an institution! It is kind of like Kentucky Basketball if you are from Kenkucky. You grow up liking it. We even loved Skyline chile in Kentucky. That shows you how we liked our neighbors to the north.

Haven't had Graeter's but my friend introduced me to Talenti Gelato, also at Publix. It was wonderful.

I'm glad Publix orders items their customers request, just so long as they don't take Blue Bell away.

Now I have to go back to Publix to get some Talenti Gelato (we really like Gelato Classico Vanilla Bean and Dark Chocolate)

.

While looking for Graeter's I did find frozen Skyline Chili. A pleasant surprise. For those not familiar with Skyline, try it over spaghetti with shreaded cheddar cheese (a "three way") and diced onions and/or beans if you want a "four or five way".

I traveled back and forth to Ohio and every trip i had to stop at Skyline and then off to Graeter's to have it all packed to bring home to the kids. They always said they missed me while i traveled but i think they just wanted the 4way,s and 8 kinds of ice cream.

Great idea! We are going to take some Skyline Chili dip to a neighborhood party to let others experience the taste.

We always put chile on macaroni or mash potatoes. Growing up, it would fill us up for less.

Let's hear it for learning about other cultures!!

Penquin...I don't want to marginalize you but you were missin' out!!

First you put the thin spaghetti, then the chili flavored with chocolate and cinnamon, then the beans, then the grated onions and then the finely grated yellow cheese, about two buckets of that.

That is a chili five way, Cincinnati style. Vunderful!!! and Mahvalous and YUMMY!
