Default Grass!

Tonight while returning from Colony Plaza the ponds all looked like a floating carpet of grass clippings.

Does this not greatly diminish the oxygen in the water and make them smell?

Just asking?

Hydrilla has been growing out of control for the last few weeks. Heavy rains wash nutrients (golf course fertilizer is a big one) into the ponds and the nutrient rich water feeds the hydrilla.

Hydrilla sounds like one of the monsters Godzilla had a run in with. I hope I don't see a bunch of screaming Japanese people running away from the ponds!
