Default Great Mold and Mildew Cleaner

Recently had a large bush (10' H x 10" W) cut down in front of our house.
Has vinyl siding, and there was much mold and mildew on the siding.
Thought I would for sure need pressure washing.
At Lowes asked if they had any type outdoor cleaner that might work.
Was shown "30 Seconds Outdoor Cleaner" to try.
Wow, did it work great!! Really in only about 30 seconds all the mold and mildew was gone, with no need to rinse off.
Worked so well did the entire house vinyl siding, used about a gallon.
Cost is about $9.xx/ gallon at Lowes, also available at Home Depot and
Walmart. Well worth giving it a try, as have used it for many other things.
Just giving this as an FYI, if it might be helpful.

Thanks. I've seen write ups on it. They too say you do not need to wash it off.
That seems to be impossible. If, it loosens the dirt and the mold, it has to go somewhere.
I've used muriatic acid on my cement. Far more dangerous to handle. Time to do it again,
I think I will, I should give it a try.

30-second cleaner is highly concentrated bleach. That's why it works so well. You should use THICK gloves that go up to your elbows if you plan on applying it with a sponge. You should also wear safety glasses, and not wear anything that you care about color with - any cloth it lands on will turn white.

copper sulfate (pre-mixed or you can mix your own on the cheap) is great for mildew if you don't want to use bleach or outdoor bleach

There is no shortage of things being SOLD that are pretty nasty, if you ask what they are.
Have not needed it here but our previous home had mildew in the shower. We had as we do now, real tile. Simple laundry bleach at like .99 a gallon mixed 1/3 bleach 2/3 water, kills the mold and it washes off easily. That is a strong mix you can likely use half as much bleach.

WARNING TO ALL, do not mix ammonia and bleach-it will release chlorine gas which will make you very sick and can kill you.

As said we use some pretty nasty stuff to clean. Copper sulfate is the stuff you put down your drain to kill tree roots growing into the drain line. It will kill a tree applied on the root system.

You don't pour copper sulfate on your tree roots unless you're an idiot. You use a minimal diluted amount and spray the patio or wall or whatever has the mold. Read the labels. Copper Sulfate General Fact Sheet

Need for name calling makes posters seem rather third grade.

A simple green mold cleaner is hot water with a squirt of Dawn and a squirt of Tide.

Actually I have used this couple times for some mold on white gutters. Worked in a few minutes, then rinsed off gutters, down the house, and grass below. Never had any issues killing the lawn, or sadly the weeds. Maybe because I rinsed for a few minutes. Did make the gutter white again
