Default Grill Disposal

Anyone know how to dispose of a Weber Gas Grill. The automatic lighter no longer works and the writing on the controls has worn off. We rarely use it so we’re getting rid of it. Will the trash company take it?

Sanitation Information

Call them for a bulk pick up. Don't be surprised if it disappears before being picked up.

Put it at the end of your driveway. Have a good night's sleep. It will be gone by morning.

They won't take the propane tank though. That has to be taken to the countywide hazardous waste event. But call your county waste collection people about the grill to arrange for a pick up. If you are in Lake County, there is a facility on Rolling Acres Rd where you can tank gas tank.

OK I put in on the end of the driveway lets see what happens. The Trash company doesn't open till 9AM Monday and they pick up Mondays so maybe I can call them before they show up.

Ours also was picked up overnight. If the propane take is still usable, it can also be taken.

Dam, I would have taken it. Our 25 year old Webber Gas Grill is still grilling strong. Twice I have re-built the guts of it with all new wearable components. Webbers are great grills. It will probably need another re-build in a couple of years, and be like brand new again. Somebody got a great surprise at the end of your driveway!
