Default Halloween Ball

The Villages Florida

We understand there is a Halloween Ball somewhere in the Villages on Oct. 31st, but can't remember where we read about it. Does anyone know about this and can they tell us where it is being held??

HB & M,

I heard about the ball, too, but couldn't find the information anywhere. Did I dream it? My mind plays tricks on me sometimes. After digging around I finally found a reference to it in this month's Vmail under special events. Whew! It isn't an imaginary ball after all!

Here's the schedule of events for October: http://www.thevillages.com/newslette...956&auth=11180

Unfortunately is doesn't say WHERE the ball is being held. The ball is real. The place for the ball is imaginary.

Default Halloween Ball - Found

The Villages Florida

I found the info on the Halloween Ball on the Virginia Trace Website under ticket sales. It is called the Masquerade Ball and is taking place at the Savannah Center starting at 7:00 p.m. (costumes optional). BYOB and snacks. Tickets are $15.00 for residents and $20.00 for non-residents.

Default Halloween Ball/Swing Band Dance

Look at the Events page, I believe it's the back page of the Lifestyle section of the Villages "Daily Sun" where it lists ALL the events at the Savannah Center.
I play in the Swing Band (trumpet).
The Ball will be held Oct 31st from 7PM till 10PM. It's BYOB and snacks. Costumes optional. That's 3 hours of merriment with your favorite gal or guy and good freinds for a $15 ticket. That's only $7.50 apiece for 3 fun hours.
Want a sneak preview??? C'mon by Mulberry Rec Center any Thursday between 2:30 and 4:30 for some great sounds.

Neat bumper sticker. Went like this: "It's God's job to judge terrorists. Our job is to arrange the meeting!"

Be a gentleman, remove your hat/cap when entering a building and dining out!
