Does that mean you, as a matter of principle, will refuse using any of their TP because you deem it dirty?

So you think businesses go out to Wal Mart or Publix every week and buy paper goods? They stock up with large purchases, and now, with the restaurants closed they have no use for so they are creatively getting rid of it by giving customers an opportunity to buy it.

Selling bottles of booze would require an off premise liquor license, which can cost $100K in Florida. The only way at this time they would get caught would be if a competitor reported them, such as a liquor store or another bar, they're taking a very big chance for a few dollars.

I don't see a problem with it. Some people cannot get up at 7 AM to buy toilet paper, and they don't want to wait in the toilet paper line.

Restaurants and other businesses get their TP, cleaning items, and other supplies from wholesale suppliers, like Sysco. They buy in bulk. They do not go to the local grocery store, so you don't have to be concerned that they emptied the shelf before you got there.

You're assuming they bought this TP after the Virus scare began. Business usually stock up on dry good so they don't run out during business season. Imagine the reaction if a customer went to the toilet and there was no TP and the business owner told him, "We ran out."

Why would I care if they are selling toilet paper for $2 a roll. Simple answer, don't buy it if it's ruining your whole day. My guess is that they have long since had massive quantities of toilet paper, seeing how they are a restaurant (and have toilets)!
I think it's great they are trying to lessen the losses they are undoubtedly experiencing. |

A business doesn't buy a six or twelve pack they buy by the big cases from the supply house. So if they got a delivery and they're closed why not sell it. A commercial case has 96 rolls of toilet paper depending on the brand per Amazon .com
