Have you received packages NOT requested, possible scam
We received pkg. not requested, contacted supplier not sender for shipping label return, next day received another package from different supplier but the same sender who we do not know. Come to find out, packages sent were charged to stolen credit card, packages would have been redirected to overseas. Both companies thanked me for contacting them. They would have been out merchandise and credit card charge, now just shipping charge.

If I have a package show up and it's not on my credit card and it's to me, it's free. If it's to a neighbor I'll deliver it it. If it's to some Romanian named Vlad, he can swing by next time he's in town and pick it up. |

Little surprised they said a stolen credit card, and it would have been redirected overseas. If it came to your address, who would forwarded the package.
Was this from Amazon? If not would be concerned about the company you contacted.

Very strange. A lot of suppliers will not send merchandise to an overseas address, so, the sender ships it to a US address and then it is resent overseas. But, usually, the sender has an agreement with the person in the US who receives the package. But, there is no legal obligation to return something that you didn't order.

An interesting new scam, of which variations never seem to end. Thanks for the heads up.

Probably wanted to see if the stolen card number was a valid one before going to town on purchases.

I've seen this before, using a stolen credit card number, they will order stuff and have it sent to an address they can monitor, if you work all day, and are out of the house, when it gets delivered , they just go by and pick it up, and you will never even know....

Quicker way is to make a collect long distance call, or go to a gas station, where someone isn’t going to cut the card up.

I ordered a table a few weeks ago...
I ordered a table from Walmart (third party seller)..it was delivered to wrong address and Walmart will not tell me where or who it was shipped to due to "Security Reasons" and "Privacy concerns"....I just want the table... a glass and chrome table delivered somewhere in The Villages.......three weeks ago...let me know if you have it please

This is a common enough scam because uPS allows redirecting packages over the internet. Eventually they'll figure this out and stop all of it. It used to be at the criminals would simply use someone else's UPS account number to ship goods overseas. This is sometimes also used so that the buyers can post fake reviews on Amazon and elsewhere
