Thx for all the responses - much appreciated. I think a shorter haircut might be in order. I originally posted this message last month under Time Spent In Golf Carts but I think it got lost in the technicalities of gas vs electric. We'll tackle that issue next but I was glad to see that there is an option for A/C or a fan in a cart (the hair thing again : ) Hubby and I will be there in a couple of weeks - looking forward to it!

Driving the golf cart in the hot days of summer is the best time of year to be driving the cart in my opinion (but the windshield must be down). But it might be easier for me as I don't have much hair left so I my head does not hold in much heat and I don't have to worry about getting my hair messed up by the wind and humidity.

There is a product call Breezeasy which is what we had installed in our golf cart. It's a lifesaver on hot days and when it is humid and rains with the sides down it eliminates the fog up inside the cart. Ours is in our Par Car and installed in front under the controls. Some of our neighbors have other brands of carts and installed them under the roof in the back and some installed under the roof in the front. Runs off of the electric battery in your cart and it doesn't matter if it's a gas or electric cart.

What they said, and a little leave in moisturizer for the hair, with a nice hat.

I installed a Breeze Aire II in my cart; great for when we’re sitting still; plenty of air flow when we’re moving and the windshield down.
