Default Poll: How much do you (TV resident) spend on Utilities?

I'm looking to create a budget for life in the Villages, and it would be enormously helpful to know what others are actually spending on utilities (& insurance) -

1. Electricity (& Gas if applicable - assume summer months with high a/c usage) =
2. Internet/Cable (assuming basic TV service whether it be cable or internet) =

& for a bonus ...

3. Insurance

I want to validate The Villages website which lists $148, $60 and $100 respectively. Thanks for your feedback.

Site is pretty accurate. PV runs with out mortgage $10,000 a year, cottage about $11,500. Designer depends on the model

2011 built masonry 2BR 2BA CYV, utilities last month $233 (that is water inside and irrigation, garbage & recycling and amenity fee), electric SECO $89 - no gas, phone & internet Century Link $86, Directv $200, you can find cheaper with streaming but I like sports and convenience, so Directv it is. Homeowners Insurance through Villages Insurance, company is Coastal and it's $580 a year, that includes sink hole, catastrophic collapse and hurricane and wind. It's very cheap to live here, my electric bill in Baltimore was $390 in the winter.

Electric - Duke $137 Monthly Budget Plan

Taxes - Lake County $86 a Month

Internet - Comcast $20 a Month

Amenity Fee - $195 to $210 depending on how much we water our lawn.

Insurance is between $800 and $1700 depending on which company you go with. We have Foremost for $1700 with very good coverage.

Car Insurance - Travelers - Great Company. Don't wanna talk about the premium!
