Default History, organization, and operation of The Villages

The latest issue of the POA Bulletin contains the best article that I have seen on the above subject. Well worth reading.

The next issue of the Bulletin will look at the future of The Villages.

Default POA home page

I did not see it either.

Here is the POA home page. Go to Current bulletins and go to page 13.

It is more about this history of the POA, than about the history of the Villages.

Andrew Blechman's book Lesiureville handled that history really well if am remember the book correctly. http://www.andrewblechman.com/leisureville/index.html

Actually, it is just a M.A. from the University of Denver.

I did not read the more salacious parts of Leisureville but heard all about them at Doggie Doo Run Run.

I think POA did a good job of reporting both side of POA and HOA. Or, should I say Civil Discourse speakers did a good job. Now I know why the two organizations and why Morse family went with HOA. I do agree that we need both organizations to keep a balanced viewpoint.
