MVB in Leesburg.
They sell, deliver, set up and service the appliances.
Competitive pricing also.
Nice to support local businesses.
Call or go see Sonny.

Most modern washers and dryers are pure junk no matter who installs them. After wasting a lot of money over the years, I now will only use Speed Queen washers and dryers. Locally, Ken&Kerrie or De Santis.or check Speed Queen's website.

Coincidentally, up north, I was in a small town barber shop. The barber was talking to a regular who, I gleaned, was an appliance installer / repairman. The barber was interested in finding an old used 90's or 00's SpeedQueen. Apparently, they are bulletproof and worth their weight in gold and easily repaired and maintained.

While older quality appliances are always better than new, it spoke highly of SpeedQueens. I remember my old manual Maytag basic washers and dryers lasted for years and years and years, while the Samsung / LG types with their computer controllers and fancy bells and whistles fail at high rates and are essentially 5 year disposable.

Yep, true statement right there. Our Samsung dryer had issues under warranty and the repair person stated most of this stuff lasts maybe 10 years now. Rollers went at the 5 year mark and I replaced them myself. Dryer element at around 7 year mark and again I replaced that using YouTube video, parts from Amazon and some patience (same process for the rollers).

Our appliance repair guy in Va would say the same thing. Appliances have become way to complicated and do not last as long as modern stuff.

Happily for us he was able to fix our older stuff as he knew where to get parts.
