Default Homeowners Insurance Recommendations

Since my longtime insurer, State Farm, no longer writes new policies in Florida, I need to find a new company. Soooo...I need recommendations for a local agent. Thanks in advance.

The Villages Ins.Agency, I've had them for 8yrs and ASI is the provider. When the 2007 tornado hit TV's we had out check in less than 2wks to fix our house which took 5 mos. to finish. I think they're great.

after amost 60 years with State Farm and being screwed by them and the local bandit Connie Duffwise, they have taught me when it comes to insurance there is no such thing as loyalty.

Therefore by the best coverage you can get from any reputable provider....that automatically keeps State Farm out.

They even had the nerve to send me a letter to assure me I could look forward to the continued coverage on my automobiles.....I won't embarass myself by repeating what I invited them to do.

I agree after 45+ years of paying them. But then the scare stories of being dropped after any minor accident started circulating and I decided not to switch yet. Amusing when the commercials come on TV saying they are there for you.

I/we used Sumter/Marion Insurance. We were able to get homeowners, and car insurance.
