The site guidelines are that you must be a Village resident to post an item for sale and the item would be picked up from a Village resident. It is impossible to have 100% compliance but we are diligent with various ways of ensuring that this is the case and remove items that don't meet this guideline.

Since the majority of residents of The Villages are retired we feel safe that by and large the items listed are owned by your neighbors.
