As I understand it they re-key the house after settlement. We were in PA at settlement and our sales guy agreed to handle some deliveries for us and he needed a key to the property. We had to sign off on giving him the key and he got it at settlement. According to him, the Master does not work on sold properties. When we had the deadbolt keyed we had the locks changed to match.
