Why! Does everyone know what Juneteenth is. Not knocking it but it’s really not that special.

I think you better Google & find out what Juneteenth holiday is!

OhioBuckeye 06-20-2023 09:03 AM

I think you got the wrong food to celebrate Juneteenth!

LOL, no. It's a fake holiday.

And it's right next to Father's Day. Blax need to focus on Father's Day.

The USA celebrates stupid 24/7.

It's who we are.

I don't celebrate those illegal aliens that built my house in the Villages. And I don't celebrate the Mennonites that built my previous home. I was brought up believing and being taught that ALL Americans were just that.....AMERICANS.
Why not ask the alphabet deviants if they like sharing their WHOLE month with a day of Juneteenth celebration?

Said the person who has never been an American slave or is a descendent of a slave...

Like many, I didn't know what Juneteenth meant just a few years ago and had to look it up. Now, when I really think about slavery and the thought of owning a human being and selling someone or separating a family it makes me sick.

Think about someone taking your family member to sell as a worker/slave. I'm sure you're thinking what I'm thinking, over my dead body.

All Americans should be proud that slavery is history and understand that Juneteenth is a celebration that America eliminated a barbaric practice.

You should be proud but that is why we have Memorial and Veterans day.

In honor of June 19 did have a hot dog with mustard and sauerkraut and feel very good about that.

We also have Independence Day which is more apples to apples. Of course celebrating the day when Christians were forced to not keep other humans as slaves --- what a concept - what a country.
