Suggestion on selling your furniture after house is sold. We had a lady from a local furniture consignment store come over and she went through the house and gave us a price on all of the furniture we were selling. I thought the prices she gave us were higher than I anticipated. I told her that I was going to sell what I could and then I would have her sell the rest. We priced everything either at what she said they would sell it for or half way in between what we would of ended up with. We sold all but a few pieces and made two trips to the consignment store with what was left. I was amazed!!!!! I suggest that you go to the consignment shop on a week end to see that they are busy and be sure that they have the floor traffic to do the job.

Thanks, Indy Guy! I never thought of a consignment shop. Our church is having a garage sale in a couple weeks, so I thought I'd start there (everyone has their own table). From there I thought I'd try Craigslist, then later have a Moving Sale. I'll have to check into consignment shops. Tomorrow is our inspection...I sure hope it goes well!
