We bought our first Villages home in 2007. We had a lifestyle preview, returned to Canada, and bought a house from an Internet Listing. Best decision we've ever made.

Been here five plus years moving in the fall of 2007 from Maine. What a difference from there to here. Loving the Sunshine State.

15 Years This Summer
We moved from Maine in August of 1998. There was a dirt rotary where the Savannah Ctr. would eventually be. That was as far as development had progressed at that point. Major entertainment was held in a tent on Spanish Springs, at Hacienda Center, and Church on The Square. (Almost all in the church were free shows). We were thrilled to have 5 executive courses to play and 2 family pools where we could take our grandchildren. The model homes were in Palo Alto and Hacienda. Oh, the changes in 14 1/2 years! The growth has been so exciting to watch and I wouldn't have missed this for anything.

Full-time resident. Put $ down a day or two after Hurricane Frances [Labor Day weekend 2004], completed the Street of Dreams process in mid-October. Closed here 01/24/2005, actually moved in a month later!
Never regretted a second!

13 years since February2000. Met my husband here and we watched 9-11 together and agreed that life is too short to wait around, not knowing your future. We got married 3 weeks later October 2001. Watched the start of "Shock and Awe" war together. Watched Target shopping center go up along with 466 and Lake Sumter Landing.
Love this place.
