Default Hula Benefit Show for the Moffitt Center

Hula Benefit Show for Moffitt Center

Aloha ‘O Ka Hula -- The Villages' original performing hula group, directed by Violet Ray -- will present "An Evening of Tropical Magic" at the SeaBreeze Recreation Center on June 10, 2011 at 7:00 PM. This performance of dance, song, music and Hawaiian legends is a benefit for the Moffitt Cancer Center of The Villages with all proceeds going to the cancer center.

Admission to the event is free with voluntary donations for Moffitt being accepted. A "50-50" drawing and drawings for raffle prizes will be held. We have more than 25 raffle packages to give away. If anyone would like a flyer (in pdf format) advertising this event, please PM me, and we will email one to you.

Free reserved seat tickets may be obtained from The Villages Health System Foundation offices at Lake Sumter Landing, beginning May 23. For information, please call the Foundation at (352) 753-6286 or Bill and Violet Ray at (352) 753-0962.

Violet and I hope that this event will be well supported. Almost everyone has been, or will be, affected in some way by this cruel disease. Maybe this event will contribute to the Moffitt Center's successful opening in The Villages and will give hope to those facing an uncertain future.

Please join us -- "We're on a Mission For Moffitt."

Bill
