I am totally amazed that people actually drive to a venue, buy a cup of coffee, then take it home to drink.
Then complain about the cost of a cup of Coffee!
WTH!

Home brewed coffee.

Does that include refills?

might be a good idea for people who answer a post to add WHICH post you are answering! That one about the company closing did not specify which post and which company closed!!

While you're at it, you might as well include Aldi's in your price comparisons. You'll be surprised.

If you go to Panera and buy one coffee you fill it yourself at the coffee station. You then can refill all you want.

I don't know if they've gone up since I've been there, but Fruitland Park Cafe was always proud that they had the 50 cent cup of coffee with free refills.

Starbucks is the worse. They burn the beans so all locations taste the same. 95% of Starbucks sold has sugar, cream, coco or other sweet stuff in it so you can’t really taste the coffee. Plus the cost of Starbucks is crazy.

Sounds like if the local bar charges $.50 for a beer, you wait until happy hour.

Don't forget to factor in the price of travel

Not just for leftovers. Prepackaged meals from you from your favorite restaurants to be frozen and reheated when going out may not be a reasonable option for you. Did it for years when traveling in the motor home. We'd get to our campsite. No restaurants for miles. Don't want to have to start preparing a meal. Just reach into the freezer and pick what you want. Heat and eat. No mess and no waiting for dinner. Works just as well at home.
