Where are you in Duval? We are Odell Circle and West Moreland, shows we have power

What are the conditions on the ground in TV? Heading to my house near Bonifay on Thursday to assess damage. Hopefully I will find little or none.

How is everything on Overstreet Place in Pinellas?

martine48 09-11-2017 07:18 AM

Here in the Village of Charlotte/Yaborough Way 8.30 AM there does not appear to be any damage to our house after a quick outside inspection. We have power thanks to SECO and TV/Internet thanks to Comcast Infinity. It is still windy 25 mph gusts 40 mph but only a few spots of light rain. Hope everyone in TV has been as lucky.

How is everything in the village of Delmar? Are there any power outages?

I was watching our retention pond late last night as the water level kept rising and then seemed to stop. I noticed the top of the weir was about 3-4 feet above the pond level before the rains started. This morning I checked the weir and water was flowing into it. There is some debris on top of the grate over the weir but it doesn't appear to be impacting it too much. It is nice to see that it was properly situated relative to the elevation of the houses around the pond.

Hi! We had to evacuate my elderly grandparents from the historic side of the villages... does anyone know the status of the mobile homes there? Do they have a home we can bring them back to with power and clean water? If this post is not aloud here I apologize... thank you in advance for any information!!

We have a lake behind us in Gilchrist.
The water level is at least 5 feet higher then before the storm.
Very scary!

Thank you for that offer! I am actually in Arizona trying to figure out the situation remotely... but based off your comment, sounds like the historic side is flooded?

All is well here in Lindsey Villa's here in Sanibel, Just a few small tree's need to be stood back up a couple of screens came loose oh and a porto potty flew up the road from me. Glad it went the other way and landed int the street and not someone else's house. Good luck cleaning that up eh. Cell phone is spotty, but internet and power is all good.

I just drove past the mobile home park on Rolling Acres Road. I didn't see any damage at all to those mobile homes. Hope everything is OK on the historic side.
