Chlorine water and sun kills the virus. Let's go Villages Pools. Open so we can exercise and get some sun.

All should Send this to disrictgov.org in comments

While the CDC sees no/little danger of transmission through properly treated pool/spa water, the danger exists because people won’t adhere to maintain proper separation. Your plan now requires an attendant at every pool every day, open to close. How do they protect themselves in the normal execution of that job, and, likely, having to try to force someone to either not enter or leave the pool when it’s time? Suppose someone or a group just refuses to get out of the water? In my experience, a likely occurrence.

Can’t we just ride this out? We’re starting to sound like kindergartners when the playground is closed.

Where did you get the info that sun and chlorine kill the virus?

Interesting theory but I don’t believe TV uses chlorine but rather something else. I don’t think I’ve ever smelled that distinctive chlorine smell here.

I am amazed at the number of posters offering advice about isolating, keeping their distance, observing the CDC advice, etc. and then on the next thread complainig how long they have to queue to pick up a take away.
You are either in the programme or not!

I don’t think the pools use chlorine, I believe it is salt. Although I may be wrong.

this is a problem but if you see pictures of China where they are starting to recover you will notice that the whole country is wearing masks. This is something we should do.

The Chinese have been wearing masks for years. This is nothing new for them. They will always wear masks when out in public. I think it is because they have poor air quality.

I heard that the Lighthouse Restuarant has an outside bar and a band playing around sunset. Lots activity and lots of people. Just ridiculous !

Everthing shut here.
Footpads and outlaws roam the streets at will.
Tumbrils are on the streets clearing bodies, as we put our dead out at night for collection.
Our doctors are charging the earth to bleed patients, although the wealthy can still get access to leaches.
Goat manure poltices are completely out of stock.
We are living on grass and nettle soup, with the odd rat thrown in if you are lucky enough to catch one.
Our backsides are filthy,as we are eating the grass we usually use to wipe them.
Our Government has decided to invade France, but as we have no navy anymore, having a problem getting troops across, as the Ferries are on strike.
If we cannot get the troops to France soon, we will go for plan B. and have a civil war instead.
A good war always takes your mind of plagues.
Apart from those odd inconveniences, all is normal here!
Stay well.

PS. No comms. as all the pigeons have been eaten
