Default I can't find my link to download my monthly amenity fee/utilities invoice

Somehow I lost the link and there is no FAQ answers to how to download an electronic copy.

Can somebody help out a brain damaged neighbor with the link to download the electronic copy?

thanks in advance

You can still get there from the "districtgov.org" website, but it takes a few extra clicks because they changed the website. Note that you are not required to use the "Invoice Cloud" vender to pay your utility bill. You can still pay the bill directly from your bank's online billing system and avoid the invoice cloud fee.

WHY DID THEY CHANGE THE WEBSITE?

There is a lot of information on districtgov.org and I was just learning how to use it and where things were.

And then they change everything!!

Considering that most of the people using the website did not grow up with computers or smartphones, I don’t understand why they make us have to learn a new system. Kind of like Microsoft making significant changes every time they come out with a new update!

I don't know, but it doesn't seem to be an improvement.

That's where i went and i could only find the link to pay the bill, not download copies of the past bills. .

monthly payments are automated from my bank account. i don't look at the account until November to pay taxes, and see how much I have in the account. Currently not enough to pay the tax bill. .

web developers can slap anything together, and its only intuitive to them. .
many web pages have biases, its obvious to see. .
like paying the bill so my customer can get his money first seems to be a primary web design bias and other useful information is secondary.

with the reminder that it mostly aged citizens with limited but growing electronic payment experience. . like putting in the wrong account number.

There is an item on the agenda for the upcoming meeting of my CDD to hear/learn about the new website, it is likely that there will be a similar item at your CDD meeting also. That would be a great place and time to ask why it was changed.

I know it is not an improvement for those of us who learned the old structure but maybe this new layout is easier to learn in the first place. So far I have been able to find what I needed, though obviously not in the same place. The current organization seems to make sense, it just isn’t the same.

I wish I didn’t have to learn something new. Others may be happy they no longer have to struggle through that old layout.

If you are asking about your amenity\water\sewer\trash bill be aware they added a PIN to access your account. If you do not have that, call them at 352-750-0000
The PIN is also printed on the top of recent statements.

Save the PIN because it doesn't change from month to month.

I agree, the new layout is an improvement and I am among the others. My frustration is with those that use their age as an excuse not to want change. I'm in my 80's and always willing to learn new stuff. It is the time we live in and not learning only puts you farther behind. Change is good.

Some may use age as an excuse. But, I think it is human nature to resist change, regardless of age.
