fruitland park

Not to disagree but the bond on the new homes in Fruitland park is somewhat higher than in the other homes as costs to develop the land are higher. Special agreement with lake county.

District 11, Cottages, Unit 27 are $24,499.63. Unit 106, Jackson Villas, are $16,622.64.:)

Lake County doesn't have a bond. Did something change? Original proposal for the new build in Fruitland Park said no bond.

:agree: I was under the impression the price of the homes would have included the bond to support the infra-structure.

Pine Flies!!!...........

or the sports analogy of, "ride the Pines". Meant for players who always sit on the bench as we seniors are prone to do. :D

As posted, there is a bond on each dwelling in "TV of Fruitland Park." They can be seen at the district government website: Amortization Schedules

I can only "assume" (dangerous, I know) that just like everything else, things change over time.

I know I never read anything published by The Villages that said there would not be a bond there. We all assumed this.

I guess the Village of Fruitland Park was a working title.

Prices were a bit deceptive considering the furnished houses were priced NOT including the furniture [emoji45]
Now add 12-15 K

cmj1210 05-21-2015 02:39 PM

The prices do not include the furniture even though they were advertised as furnished.

CFrance 05-21-2015 04:48 PM

Last fall a TV sales agent told me that you have to pay for the furniture separately. You cannot add the cost of the furniture into a mortgage. The banks won't allow it.

Yes that is correct but when we purchased our home fully furnished the cost was with furniture included. When we closed the furniture was written up desperately.

I guess that beats calling them "Love Bugs"

it takes 15 minutes from Dunedin. I drove to the new homes via cart from dunedin and it was another 15 to 20 minutes.....30 to 35 minutes would be my guess. The problem is, and Osceola is in the same boat, you have to drive so far out of the way to get anywhere sorta like Calumet.

Relax folks, the names have been chosen. If you wish to refer to the area as "The Villages of Fruitland Park" you are free to do so. Move on.

CFrance 05-23-2015 06:55 AM

People were just having fun with it. No relaxing needed.

There is nothing worse than having desperate furniture. What had it done?
