I am going to stop now and have an early lunch and then get back to TOTV so I can post some more Ciao.

Isn't one of the goals of zen teachings to reach Nirvana? Need I say more??

No addiction

De Nile is in Egypt but like cable across the Atlantic comes up in Florida and pops up in Lake Miona. But, I still don't have addiction like many of you because I didn't pick up my I-Pad for 24 hours to look at what's going on TOTV. Though I did go to You Tube and watched line dancing at Spanish Springs.

Trish the basic tenet of Zen is as follows: All is sorrow. Sorrow derives from desire. Eliminate desire and you can then eliminate sorrow. I keep threatening my bride with that ideaology but she is always one step ahead of me. I'm so easy. Its like my brother says. All things in moderation....and I require a lot of moderation:D

And is 2 visits to TV this year another sign of addiction?? I'm guilty as charged, but I get 6 weeks of vacation, so I might as well put a couple of those weeks to good use.

Laura, you and I are so close in our planning and when we hope to move it is scary. If I can retire when I am 62, I am 8 years and 7 months way but who is counting? :p I may move down before I retire. One of the advantages of having a portable job. But like you said... The Good Lord willing and the creek don't rise!

It was fun meeting Trish and her husband Thursday night. I think I saw their friends roll their eyes a few times as we spoke about the Villages. Trish confided to me that when she can't sleep, she lays there and thinks about how she will decorate her new home. LOL I have done that also.

Sanity is highly overrated. :-)

Back to the title of this thread - I think I may need an intervention because I am in Europe on vacation and logging on. I am getting German ads on TOTV. One is a GroupOn ad for German restaurants. I know there are some other folks living abroad who log on too so assume they have noted this as well.

I am thinking you are seeing three of my favorite Munchkins. Hug them for me.

I have the Itch BAD today

Aw man, I have the itch to get to the Villages BAD today. I took a look at the recreation schedule and there are so many things I want to do (quilting, polyer clay, beading, scrabble, bingo, line dancing, etc.)

I also looked at the resale properties and think "Ohhhhh I like that one! And THAT one!". Am I in a position right now to buy? Nope. I just keep torturing myself. This usually happens when I am not slammed at work.

Ditto.

While waiting for my condo to sell, I sometimes look at properties that I would like to purchase and tear up knowing I can't buy it immediately.

I try not to torture myself but I do occassionally especially if it is a property that I would buy in a heartbeat. :(

Someday, it will happen for all us wannabees. :)

Awwww. This made me so sad to hear.

I have to say this. Some dear friend from Buffalo said I should ask the fellow who saw to the building of the basilica there years ago, Father Baker, to intercede for us. I did ask. Our house sold in nine days. Wouldn't hurt to ask.

You can look him up. He runs with some great company.

No, going to go shake my booty at Jazzercise (5:45 pm). After that, you really don't want me to show up as I will most likely smell like an old goat. :D
