If they can move the water between ponds using existing pipes, why do they need this equipment?

Pipes break.

FYI, there are balls exposed everywhere in the residual mud. Wishing I still had my snowshoes as I could have collected 100's of balls.

Because they are doing maintenance on a pipe there. It’s been planned for months and the villages posted something about it months ago.

Thank you

Perhaps the reason in TV is the same.

I think they do the same here, but this is emptied, not lower - maybe a BIG storm is coming they haven't told us about - ?

Sadly, at this point in this country, I would NEVER trust anyone I buy from to warn me or even to inform me. I rely on myself. If I screwed up buying here, well, it certainly won't be the first mistake I ever made. That is on me.

I do have sinkhole insurance, but not because I was afraid of sinkholes, but because it is so inexpensive it seems to not be worth it to not have it.

As far as the State "protecting me". Really? I am a bleeding heart left-wing radical liberal (ask anyone here) and I would NEVER look to the government to protect me from anything, other than foreign countries invading. When they do, good, when they don't no big deal.

Not something I would brag about or be proud of, but that's just my humble opinion

Not trying to sound mean but where did you get the idea you thought they are looking for bodies?

He was being humorous. He did not think there were bodies in the pond.

See that says you and I am different. That is great. Imagine if we were all the same, same cloths same hair cuts, same cars, same politics, same beliefs, same hair color, and on an on.

I guess if everyone was like ME that would be okay - LOL!

Low Ponds

Pond behind my home is also low.

Some possibilities I know of:

1) They do this on purpose if they are expecting a lot of rain.
2) The incredible heat is evaporating the ponds.
3) It is rumored that at times they forget and leave the draining pump on too long.

LOL, that’s what I’m doing trying to be humorous! We all know if they really thought there were bodies in some of the ponds, I really don’t think they would let TV investigate the ponds.

Repairing a large pipe. Have to drain to get old pipe out and place new one. This water covers a few holes on that course and has pipes running from one to the other. To prevent depressions from happening they sometimes need to do this.
