Default I want to buy a used piano

Does any Villages resident have a spinet piano for sale? I have an electric keyboard, and the sound is not pleasing to my ears.

You should be able to find a very good used piano at no charge if you pay to move it. Kids aren't taking piano lessons, nobody plays the piano anymore, the market for pianos is in the tank, sadly. I have friends in Chicago that owned a $10K Baldwin baby grand. They tried to sell it for $1,500. No takers. They tried to sell it on consignment at local music stores. No takers. They literally couldn't give it away. Be patient, expand your search to other cities.

BTW, my unsolicited advice, don't get a spinet, get an upright. Longer strings, bigger sound board, better sound, same footprint as a spinet.

What electric piano are you using?

Thumbs up Suggestion

I searched for a piano as I was going to trade one in. After doing some research I ended
up with a Yamaha Digital P125 which cost around $700 and it is as good as any upright, etc.piano. I would recommend taking a look at this model. It is just the right model of a digital. It is 88 keys, great sound, not too loaded with extra's that are not needed. Good luck.

Thumbs up Also

I also had a Yamaha Digital Piano which I purchased in NY City and paid around $2,000+ many years ago. The new P125 beats it by a country mile.

I have a beautiful upright Kawai brand piano. Send me a private message $200 and you move it. I live in The Villages. The piano is in excellent condition. Only selling because we are downsizing. Send me you cell number and I'll send you a photo

I don't know anything about pianos, but have you looked at the ones on Amazon? They will deliver a new one to your house.
