We find most restaurants a little noisy and brightly lit. We would LOVE to find a romantic restaurant, if anyone knows one, please post!! lovehorse

The best we've been able to come up with so far ... sitting on the veranda overlooking the water at one of the three waterfront restaurants at LSL. But you need warm weather for that.

Handiman,

I agree TV could use a excellent deli -- my recommendation is Jason's Deli. The sandwiches are like those you remember from being a kid. There is a Jason's adjacent to Baer's Furniture in Altamonte Springs.

Barefoot, You mentioned noisy restaurants. We have found this too. Will go out for a nice meal--often at one of the country clubs and we can not hear each other talk. I love the quiet restaurants.

Thanx Beady, I'll be anxious for the Sams also.
Where we live in NC, the Sams and Costco are across the street from each other and we have memberships to both. But always seem to buy alot more at the Costco. And I love their Kirkland brand of skincare . . Guess I can order stuff I can't live without online til they get one here. Or someone told me they have one near Orlando, may have to go for a monthly fix.

We also have a Sam's club and a Costco near where we live today and I have belonged to both in the past. I have found the prices, quality, and availability to be MUCH better at Costco. Maybe it's what I buy. The closest one currently to the Villages is in Altamonte Springs and if I have to travel there once a month to buy the things I want, so be it.

If anyone knows of a quiet restaurant, we'd love to hear about it. ;D
