Default Bathroom Vents

Are the fans in the guest bathrooms in TV homes vented to the outside? I can see the vent cover for the master bath on my roof but don't see one for the guest bath fan. I am not comfortable about climbing a ladder into the attic to check it myself.

yes, you can usually hear the vent flapper making noise during higher winds. I think the building codes require vents to the outside, so the short answer is yes your guest bathroom has vent.

Default Vents

Most of the newer homes are putting vents out thru the soffits. Less holes in the roof.

Default Venting through soffits...

...I wondered if that's what they did for the guest bath vent. That's not code in Massachusetts.
