Can the person who runs this board tell who a poster is thru his IP (or something) number or whatever? Isn't there a way to trace a poster thru his posts? Or have I been watching too much of NCIS?

I was thinking about someone who posts under two different forum names.

We can find the IP address from which a person enters the forum.

We do not permit mulitiple accounts to any one user. We do allow a husband and wife, for example, to enter under their own accounts, and they most likely would enter from the same IP address.

If any member feels that one person has two accounts here, feel free to let us know and we will look into it.

We have found, both on our own and from tips from members, some users attempting to register more than one account. We have asked them to select the account they wanted to maintain and we removed the other.

Tony, I thought that you could do that. I don't have any problems with any one, let alone anyone I think is registered under two names. Just wondered. Maybe a bit bored today.
