Ross, that's poppycock and you know it!
I've never, ever seen that comment on this website.

Back to signs ...
Check your Deed Restrictions.
Some areas, such as Historical, are more relaxed.
As The Villages expanded southward, more covenants were added.

Depends on where your home is. No signs allowed south of 466 per your deed restrictions.

If you drive the cart path around the side of Turtle Mound Golf Course you will see a nice Villages Realty Yard Sign up towards the water tank out by the yard boundary with the golf course. Been there for quite a while now, does the yard sign rule not apply to The Villages Realty and should they not know better?

Regardless of what your deed restrictions say, the process of making you adhere to them is complaint-driven only. You could put a billboard in your yard, and if no one complains, it'll stay there.

It is my understanding that real estate signs are only allowed in the owner's window.
And yes, any real estate company does know the rules of The Villages.
As CFrance stated, removal would be complaint driven.
With all due respect, if the sign bothers you, why not call the number on the sign?
I'll bet they will immediately remove it.

Yep, you have the right to live in a PET FREE COMMUNITY. Instead you chose a PET FRIENDLY COMMUNITY.
