Re: INSERTING PICTURE
No problem. Glad to do it. Now for the life of me I can't remember what I
suggested. I'll have to go search for it. Where was it, Fumar? Anybody else need the detail on posting pictures? Also, if anyone needs a picture resized. Let me know. I'll get to it as quickly as I can. If I get buried, I'll try to find free software to download and post directions. I use Photoshop, but that is really overkill for most jobs. I use the software for a bunch of other photo work I do. |

Re: INSERTING PICTURE
HI TONY ON AUG 3. I THINK..........
YOU SENT TO ME THE FOLLOWING. There is more than one way to get there, but here is one. Make sure the picture is no wider or deeper that 140 pixels. That is important. To insert it as your picture 1. Go to any message you posted. 2. Click on your name at the left of the message 3. Click on View your Public Profile. 4. On the left side is the heading Modify Profile 5. Under it, click on Forum Profile Information 6. In the dialogue box that appears, go down and click the button in front of I will upload my own picture 7. Click on the Browse button and navigate to the location on your computer of the picture 8. Click on the picture so that its name appears in that text box (next to the Browse button) 9. Then drag down to the bottom of the dialogue and click Change Profile AND IT WORKS LIKE A CHARM.. THANKS AGAIN... THE GREAT FUMAR GO BLUE

Re: INSERTING PICTURE
Adding an avatar is easy. How do you insert a photo in the body of a message?

Re: INSERTING PICTURE
Let's try this. It worked. Picture of a long dead guy which should be in the public domain. He also shares my birthday of February 24. Even though he was born in 1836.
I know it would be the photographer who would probably own the copyright to the picture of this painter born February 24, 1836. I also really like his paintings! |

Re: INSERTING PICTURE
When you add a picture from your files to the text box is it automaticaly sized or do you have to size the picture before you download into profile :dontknow:
