Take a look at post #6 in the thread "Direct TV Outages". It probably won't work in the worst conditions, but helped a lot for me.

New ponds on golf courses after last night's rain
 
Thanks again Hoosierb4 for great referral on TV reception.

I golfed this AM and what a difference the rain made. Many more water hazards and ponds.
( I still pared 7 out of 9 holes and that is good for me.):smiley:

Same thing happened to a neighbor last Saturday--they lost a lot of electronics, but they and the dog are all ok. Glad you are, too. I love a good storm but not the zzzzzttttty damage that can happen. Yikes!
