Other groups also do a lot of that self promoting while being paid by another, in this case villages merchants, or does the state tourism fund still pay for it ? Anyway, .. noticed the trend has REALLY GROWN, you are correct. Used to only be a mention at the end of the evening, or a quick mention that there is a table with tapes, or information on other appearances, or a quick mention of a website a group might have.. but you are right, some groups now use more of their paid time to advertise than they do to entertain. Could this be yet another fall out from the months of no income due to Covid Virus ? No end to the damage this has done to every aspect of life... even down to musical groups ! !
