I was talking with my sales rep today and was told for the month of July TV sold 214 new homes and 74 pre-owned homes.

I wonder if that figure includes sales by outside realtors. We closed on ours in July through an outside agency.

It almost makes me feel unfaithful to TV to have used an outside agency, but the house we wanted was listed with one.

I'll vouch for the 214. I bowl with a sales rep & was told the same. They weren't sure of the pre-owned numbers.

How does the 214 number compare to other months?

Is this the number of homes that were closed on in July or the number of new contracts for July. The original deadline to close to qualify for the 6500 dollar tax credit was the end of July, so if this is the number that closed, it is expected. If this is new contracts in July, that is good performance.
