Default Just got home.

Well, we are home in PA from our 1st week as "Villagers". We bought a turn key CYV, site unseen in Adriana Villas in Hemingway. Sure had butterflies going down to see it, but we really trusted our TV realtor. It is absolutely beautiful, no dissappointments whatsoever. We met some great neighbors and looking forward to going back down in October and meeting more.

That's the way to do it! No need to agonize and debate every little triviality for months or years the way many do.

When your relatives, friends and neighbors in PA find things wrong with your decision (because they are afraid to step out of their boring, static lives), and when they ask "What will you do about ______?", just answer "The same thing 85,000 other people have done. If the place were no good, they'd move away."

We also bought our first Village home in 2007, a CYV, sight unseen. We found it on the internet and made an offer! And it was fabulous, we never regretted our decision for a second. (We eventually moved to a larger home because we had so many guests.)

At our age, sometimes you have to just grab for the golden ring and hold on!
